The Board of Directors is comprised of consumers, family members, mental health
professionals and interested community members. The Board meets monthly and
members are elected at our Annual General Meeting.  The Board supports the
activities of the Client Council and works collaboratively with its members.

The Board of Directors is responsible for

• Providing positive leadership and support to the agency and staff
• Developing policies which are compatible with the mandate of
  the agency and reflective of the needs of persons with severe
  mental health problems
• Ensuring the financial health of the organization through sound
  fiscal policies and realistic fund raising goals and strategies
• Supporting an environment of on-going evaluation, resulting in the
  continuous improvement of service for all clients and stakeholders
• Helping to increase community awareness of the agency and its mission
