Course Outline

Objective: 

Promote equitable healthcare practices by addressing systemic biases and fostering inclusive environments.

Trainer Bio

Jermaine Henry (he/him) is a creative facilitator, community worker, and systems thinker with over 15 years of experience designing and leading dynamic experiences across the nonprofit, education, and healthcare sectors. Rooted in Africentric values and cultural healing traditions, Jermaine focuses on holding space for braver conversations, community engagement, and equity-centered learning.



He has facilitated staff training, community learning circles, and mental wellness programs with organizations such as CAMH’s Black Health Strategy, Ontario Trillium Foundation, YouthREX at York University, and CUPE’s Education Branch.


As a facilitator, Jermaine brings warmth, creativity, and engagement — guiding participants to reflect, reconnect, and act with compassion. His workshops integrate storytelling, cultural wisdom, movement, and dialogue to inspire both personal growth and community development.
