Course Outline
- Understand Ontario's Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) for Small Businesses (less than 50 workers) and help meet health and safety responsibilities
- Provide useful resources from the Public Services Health & Safety Association (PSHSA) and broader health and safety community to assist community health organizations in health and safety work practices moving forward.
- The discussion will be interactive in nature so participants can have an opportunity to ask questions and share their ideas.
Trainer Bio
Carolyn Cutltlertson obtained her Master of Health Science degree in Occupational & Environmental Health from the University of Toronto. She's been with Public Services Health & Safety Association (PSHSA) since 2008 helping to develop OHS prevention materials and resources, providing sector specific health and safety expertise, advisory and applied services and training to clients. Carolyn is also one of the leads for the WSIB's Health and Safety Excellence program-a step-by-step approach to building a safer workplace while earning rebates on your WSIB premiums.
